So life is awesome!!!!!!!! I love all the amazing things that God allows me to be a part of. I really hate school, but I can take hope and peace in the fact that I only have six months left.
In light of the Thanksgiving season I'll leave you with my top five things that I'm most thankful for (keep in mind that there are far more than 5 things that I'm thankful for but I didn't want to write a novel on my xanga, also keep in mind that narrowing this list down to 5 was also very, very difficult):
1. Life ( I know you're saying to yourself "jees Drew, way to be cliche, but I know so many people that are having major and minor health problems, and who have also died, so I really am thankful for God giving me life everyday, and the opprotunity to give that life back to him, because he is worthy of everything that I have, including my life.)
2.Salvation ( this could have just as easily been grouped with the above, because without salvation I have no life, everytime I think about the sacrifice that Christ made for me, I'm left speachless. I can't understand why anyone would do that for me, so I just accept that He loves me and try to honor him with my life.)
3. Family (I know that my family is somewhat disfunctional at times, but I think all are. I don't know what I'd do without my family, they're always there for me, especially my mom, she's quite possibly the strongest women I know if I could be half the parent she was to me, to my kids then I know I'll raise some awesome kids.)
4. Friends ( with some of my friends I could just as easily call them family, I am truly blessed with some of the relationships that God has given to me, I would have been up a creek a long time ago if it hadn't been for some of my boys, thanks guys you mean a lot to me.)
5. My Job ( I hate to call it a job, because it really isn't I love what I do I think to myself everyday "am I really a youth pastor?" you guys probably don't understand the passion that I have for students, but God has broken my heart time and time again for youth, and I can't ever get over the fact that He's given me an opprotunity do something that I love so much.)
